José Roberto Victoria Nandayapa was born in San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas on October 23, 1966. He studied Human Medicine at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, graduating as a Surgeon in 1990.

 

He completed postgraduate studies at the ABC Hospital (American British Cowdray) in Mexico City, graduating as a Specialist in Internal Medicine in 1995.

I do a second specialization at the National Institute of Cardiology of Mexico "Dr. Ignacio Chávez” graduating as a specialist in Clinical Cardiology in 1998

Subsequently, he completed 1-year training in Hemodynamics and Cardiac Catheterization at the same Institute of Cardiology in Mexico City, graduating in 1999 and finally completed 1 year of training in Interventional Cardiology and percutaneous vascular techniques at the Hospital Do Mexoeiro in the city of Vigo in Spain graduating in the year 2000.

Since October 2000, he has been working as a clinical cardiologist and interventional cardiologist in the city of Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.

In his interventional cardiology practice in Hermosillo, he has performed more than 1,500 diagnostic coronary angiography procedures and more than 600 therapeutic procedures (angioplasties) with a range of success and complications within what is accepted by the European Society of Cardiology (SEC) and the American Association. of the Heart (AHA).
